As a Process Engineer (CNC), you will be responsible for developing and implementing process strategies, managing process resources, optimizing current processes and maintaining process documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform programming for CNC milling machines.
  • Analyse the design and define the best sequence for machining steps.
  • Analyse technical drawings and ensure programming operations are optimised to achieve best possible productivity.
  • Lead new products introduction (NPI) and optimise manufacturing process to define best sequence of machining steps.
  • Develop and set tooling selection and fixture design.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with specifications or machines.
  • Perform process improvements to increase the overall capacity and turnaround time.
  • Perform budgetary costing analysis.
  • Analyse and set router sequence to achieve the best possible quality and efficiency.
  • Support any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • O Level, NITEC or ITE Certificate or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 – 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in precision engineering.
  • Knowledge of CAM software (Gibbs Cam, Master Cam) is a must.
  • Proven working knowledge in CNC milling machines.
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Team player who is able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, meticulous and able to multi-task to meet deadlines.
